Ellafi Federal Credit Union stands as Connecticut's first credit union built around a bold and necessary idea: that financial independence shouldn't be out of reach for women and their allies. Since evolving from its roots as a small group of teachers into a credit union dedicated to empowering women and their allies, Ellafi has never lost sight of its founding spirit, people helping people. Today, that mission takes an exciting new step forward with the launch of Investments, Ellafi's new digital investing experience powered by Eko.

Digital investing is now available to all Ellafi FCU members, bringing an accessible path to long-term financial growth directly into the digital banking experience members already know and trust.

Ellafi's mission, to Empower and Lead women, Lift economic resilience, and help women and their allies Achieve Financial Independence, isn't just a name (it's also where "E.L.L.A.F.I." comes from). It's a lens Ellafi brings to everything it builds, and investing is a natural next chapter.

For too long, investing has felt like a tool reserved for the few, inaccessible, intimidating, or simply out of reach for many everyday members. Ellafi is changing that. By making digital investing available directly through their online and mobile banking, Ellafi is extending the same trusted, member-first guidance their community has always relied on into a brand-new part of their financial lives: building wealth, on their own terms.

That commitment shows up everywhere at Ellafi, from their Ellafi Kind community giving program supporting domestic violence survivors, young girls' financial education, and local nonprofits, to their Women's Advisory Council shaping the institution's future. Investments is one more way Ellafi is living out its vision of being a recognized force for financial equity, for women and their allies, and every member who walks through their doors (virtual or otherwise).
